We'll talk about all of the unique things that KDVS brings to the community - from locally produced music, news and public affairs programs to live shows and even our very own quarterly magazine. BAMU EXPRESS - Sacramento mulit-insturmentalist inspired by acts like Toro Y Moi. We'll hear some older pieces and a few selections from his latest album "Awful Earlies", a mix of darker electronic pop that sometimes reminds me of Geneva Jacuzzi and Glass Candy (w/Chris's distorted male vox of course)... First ever live performance!
During the show we will have a couple of exclusive premiums available including the "Triplofonic Souls" compilation, a selection of 60s and 70s pop, garage, soul and r&b hand picked by Lady Kay and The Color Technic. A special limited printing of the cover art designed by Bamu Express himself will also be up for grabs.
